Ertunç Tümen holds an MBA from Bilkent University and a degree in Civil Engineering from Istanbul Technical University. He also attended various certificate programmes at Harvard Business School.

Mr Tümen is currently the Executive Vice President in charge of Business Development, Marketing and Sales at Ak Portföy, where he has led the company to become Turkey’s leading asset management company. He previously held senior management positions at Akbank, BNP Paribas Asset Management and Garanti Asset Management, where he played a key role in the management and development of various investment funds.

Ertunç Tümen also holds Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification and has in-depth knowledge in investment management, risk management, marketing, institutional sales and product development. He has authored numerous publications and won various awards throughout his career.
